Welcome

As a resilience and wellbeing trainer I help people build solid foundations so they can bounce back quicker and stronger when life challenges and stressors happen.

Learning from the latest scientific research I combine proven techniques with more than a decade’s experience of coaching, therapy and training in this area to help people build resilience reserves and influence their wellbeing by creating powerful neural networks through practicable actions and support structures.

“Resilience is the your ability to deal with, find strength in and/or recover from difficult times” Dr Chris Johnstone, author of Seven Ways to Build Resilience

"Wellbeing can be understood as how people feel and how they function both on a personal and a social level and how they evaluate their lives as a whole"  New Economics Foundation

With clients from all corners of the world and more than 75% of people finding me through personal recommendations I see time and time again how effectively people can influence how they cope with different types of adversity and I am passionate about supporting people to change their lives.

We need resilience in all areas of our lives to varying degrees. It doesn’t have to be big life events. Many people feel they could be living a better, happier and more fulfilling life – I help them get there by changing the things they can and accepting the things they can't. There is a growing body of scientific evidence that shows how impactful strong resilience is on people's ability to bounce back and grow.

A runner does strength and conditioning to improve performance but also to prevent injury.

We go to the dentist preventatively to get a check up not just when our teeth need fixing.

Resilience should be approached in the same way. It is something that if practised can grow and sustain us through adversity.

“Look after your psychological and physical health in everyday life then when those dark days come you are definitely better equipped to deal with them” Dr Lucy Hone, author of Resilient Grieving

How Do I Help?

There are three main ways I support people:

1.       One to one resilience and wellbeing training and coaching

I draw on my extensive experience as a coach, trainer and therapist to help people overcome blocks to be resilient and empowered when life throws up challenges.  Typically after your first session we would set up an action plan and five more sessions after which we would review depending on your needs. Due to the proven techniques used I find that people are often able to start strengthening their resilience after just one sessi

This support can be delivered remotely (via Zoom/ Skype etc), in London or Brighton.

2. Resilience workshops

Tailored to your company's or group's needs and typically delivered over one day with individual coaching follow up. We look at why supporting your own resilience and wellbeing is important and create practical and impactful action plans tailored to individual delegates.

Contact me for more information.

3.       Lightning Process

I am one of the world’s most experienced Lightning Process practitioners and work with Phil Parker the designer of the Lighting Process at his clinic in London, UK. I run just six Lightning Process courses a year for small groups of people to make sure I keep my delivery fresh.
